The Shunt will accept everything on 5 sides and outputs items on the sixth side.

It can’t receive objects via its output side! Therefore, it’s effective to navigate the item’s flow.

Due to technical reasons, shunts can’t directly deposit items into other shunts, filters, osmosis filters, tr distributors.


They work as a shunt with only one input side. A filter will give an internal inventory slot to keep one item.

When taking over that slot, only items of that type can pass through the filter.

The four sides other than the output side will open the entrance to the internal inventory slot. Everything must head to the side opposite from the output side. So, the tool can send them to the output side.


Each side of a distributor will operate as an input face or an output face.

Depositing something into a distributor’s face via a tube, hopper, osmosis filter… will transport the target out of another face.

Distributors only deliver products to the next item-handling blocks. If there are no connected blocks capable of accepting an inserted object, a distributor will eject pieces into the world. It acts from the opposite face when a unit is accepted.

Color Tubes

They run like regular tubes. However, they will put together tubes of a matching color or regular tubes.

Because of technical reasons, shunts, filters, osmosis filters, and distributors can’t deposit blocks into each other.

They allow extracting whatever swiftly from a player inventory into a tube network, the world, or anything else.

Start the Loader to display a GUI. Players can move or shift-click items to eject them immediately from the loader’s output side.

Osmosis Filters

Although they are as same as Filters, they can automatically extract what you expect from their input side. They do that at a similar rate to a hopper.


They extract a stack from an inventory on their input side and eject them from their output side. Switch them on by using Redstone.

The tubesreloaded:shunts block tag is useful to block shunts, filters, osmosis filters, and distributors from sending something to each other. It happens as that could cause an unlimited loop in their current implementation.

Server Config

A server config will form in each save folder under /serverconfig/tubesreloaded-server.toml. It can find the following configuration values:


Soft cap on the number of tubes that can stay in a contiguous network of tubes.

Items pass slowlier in networks of greater size than the value. It informs that the player has too many tubes. Defaults to 400.


Hard cap on how many tubes in Tubes Reloaded can dwell in a contiguous network. If making a network of bigger size from the value, not all tubes will be a part of it. Defaults to 500.


Base time in ticks that a moving stack in each tube block. Use other factors to change. Defaults to 10.


Max stuff that can match in a single tube. A tube block will break when the number of stacks inside them is bigger than the value. It will drop the entire on the ground. Not capped by default.


Osmosis filter automatic transfer rate in ticks per object. The default value of 8 is identical to the value of vanilla hoppers.


Maximum range in blocks at which tubes can remotely join each other. It influences how you check nearby chunks for longtube intersections when setting down a block. Defaults to 16.0 meters.

  • Firstly, make sure that you have successfully installed Minecraft Forge and Mantle Mod!
  • Set the right location for the Minecraft application folder
